Public Relations Communication Coordinator

The College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences (CAHNRS) at Washington State University seeks a Public Relations Communication Coordinator to join their Communications team in Pullman, Washington.

Full Time; $55K per year + full benefits. Serves as a writer, editor, and lead on social media.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Writing feature stories, news releases, email marketing content, and digital content,
  2. Editing written content, including peer-reviewed content that is destined for publishing across various media channels, and
  3. Monitoring and routinely posting to social media platforms.


Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing or other relevant field AND two (2) years of professional experience in public relations and marketing including the use of digital media; and 2 years of progressively responsible work experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
