Our laboratory team members are self-motivated, highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As a Moderate Complexity Laboratory, the required use of critical judgment in quality control, quality assurance and patient testing are needed to produce reliable and accurate results.
They take pride in providing superior diagnostic and laboratory services to aid providers as they treat patients. Working cohesively with members of other departments, our laboratory team is responsible for the proper handling of all specimen types submitted for processing and perform a wide variety of laboratory tests in clinical chemistry, hematology, serology, and urinalysis.
IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES &
Qualifications:
AS/BS and ASCP Certification/Eligible
1-3 years medical laboratory experience and 2-3 years phlebotomy experience
Experience working with EHR/LIS systems (Centricity/Orchard preferred)
Excellent time management, interpersonal, customer service, and ability to handle stressful situations
Energetic, positive work attitude and approachable personality
Superior communication skills; Ability to speak respectfully, clearly and concisely to patients and staff members
The ability to work well both independently and cohesively with team members and other departments
