Washington State University Supply Management Services, Central Receiving Warehouse Operator 2 Starting Salary: $2542 per month. Responsibilities include receiving and processing freight, unloading trucks manually with material handling equipment, piece count verification; entering shipping data into the WSU shipping computer system; sorting small package freight and preparing for final campus delivery. Receive freight, equipment, and supplies via commercial transportation carriers and vendors. Contribute to the overall look and appearance of the warehouse so appearance is neat and clean. Position will be required to interact with WSU customers and transportation carriers over the phone and face-to-face, so strong customer service skills are paramount. Position will perform campus deliveries of small package freight to various campus locations. Minimum
Qualifications: High School graduation or equivalent AND physical ability to do required work AND one year of clerical or technical experience in warehousing, stock keeping, retail, shipping or receiving and operation of material handling equipment; OR equivalent education/experience.
