Responsibilities:
Assist with projects as assigned.
Maintain correspondence, meeting minutes, division processes, scientific/technical documents, databases, measurements and/or reports.
Provide support to staff by:
Reviewing mail and developing appropriate recommendations, responses or routing.
Coordinating, scheduling and/or organizing meetings and appointments.
Assisting with the research and creation of presentations.
Facilitating intra/interdivisional information flow. Coordinating with contacts inside and outside the company.
Preparing and coding forms for purchasing supplies and equipment. Obtaining approvals, and ensuring receipt of purchase.
Maintaining filing systems by creating, filing and archiving records.
Make and coordinate travel arrangements. Prepare and code travel forms, reconcile as needed.
Assist with organizing and preparing for customer visits and training.
Assist with the preparation, access and protection of documents containing confidential information.
Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Related associate degree or equivalent experience
Secretarial or administrative experience
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Superior organizational skills and high attention to detail
Excellent grammar and communication skills
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific information
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
Preferred
Qualifications:
Database management skills
Experience with Lotus Notes, Visio, drawing and/or page layout programs.
Foreign language skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
