Summary of Duties:
The Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2 provides instructional support for lecture demonstrations.
Duties include preparing equipment and materials for lecture demonstrations, making order requests to ensure materials and equipment are sufficiently stocked, assist faculty and lab supervisor to modify existing experiments and implement new experiment procedures.
Provide materials for the Physics and Astronomy Club and community outreach activities.
This position is also responsible for maintaining and tracking equipment inventory in the department as well as assisting manager with editing departmental safety documents.
Required
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree with major study in specific instructional area; or equivalent education/experience.
Preferred
Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in Physics or a related field education/experience.
Experience leading the work of students and/or staff.
Experience in higher education, local or state agency, or equivalent.

Range 44 $3,700 to $4,968 A-M Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28 OR applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
