com)General Position Description Office Assistant is responsible for performing a range of clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations in a professional childcare setting.
It also includes support classrooms with lunch breaks and curriculum planning times by stepping into the classroom to assist during lunch/nap time.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 11am-6pmDuties Upkeep of common area cleanliness and aesthetics Keeping an inventory of office supplies and creating an order list as needed Processing and maintaining client and personnel files as directed by P.

Welcoming visitors to the center Answering phone calls Taking and delivering messages Ensuring the office runs smoothly Provide brief assistance to classrooms during down times.
May be asked to act as classroom support for an indefinite time if the center is short staffed Prep any materials for classrooms, but only if schedule allows Scheduling meetings and sending meeting invites to attendees Complete tasks as delegated by administration Willing to drive a 12-15 passenger van in all weather conditions if needed.

May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
