We are an independently owned and operated Early Childhood Center and an Early Achievers rated facility (Level 4).
The Program Manager is responsible for supporting and supervising staff and their environments.
The PM is responsible supporting staff in developing a quality education curriculum and stimulating environment that supports the learning goals of the center, using the curriculum tools in place.
The PM coordinates the management and organization supplies and materials to conduct the lessons.
The PM works with the Teachers to ensure that they are prepared to deliver the lesson plans and that the lesson plans meet the curriculum guidelines.
They assist in hiring and onboarding of center staff.
They oversee professional development plan for the center and individual teachers.
S/he also manages the quality improvement activities including accreditation self-study.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:
00am-1pm, once a week, from 1pm-2:
30pm to check in with lead staff during quiet time/planning time.
DutiesMuch of this is in partnership with the administrative team.
Mainly supervising staff and classroom management but supporting director and co-PM in day-to-day operations.
? Ensures smoothness in daily center happenings including offering in-classroom support when needed.
? Performs related duties as assigned.
? Assists in enforcing daily schedule.
? Shares parent communication with Director & Co-Assistant Program Manager? Schedules and conducts new enrollment orientation and visits leading up to first day of enrollment.
? Creating and maintain student files.
? Receives call outs and next steps for coverage when co-PM is out of the office.
? Interview potential team members in partnership with Director and co-PM? In charge of training and supervising training period of new staff? Spends sometime in the classrooms, observing, modeling and delegating needs to Curriculum Supervisor? Conducts employee evaluations with the input of supervisor hierarchy & in conjunction with co-PM? Oversee classroom portfolios? Provide guidance during quarterly assessment period? Supervise the maintenance of inventory of supplies and equipment; delegates the distribution of supplies and equipment,assists with providing orders of supplies and equipment to the Director and its programs and follows through on inventory as itcomes in.
? Supervise maintenance of classroom environments (indoor, outdoor and storage areas)? Planning, organizing, and executing center family events in conjunction with co-PM? Attends a variety of training seminars and community meetings as needed? Assist in planning, organizing, and executing staff development days (PDD) in conjunction with co-PM? Daily check-ins with Administrative Assistants to ensure paperwork, packets, etc.

in Early Childhood Education or related degree OR equivalent classroom experience (6
years of full-time classroom experience) A signed an educational contract to obtain the education requirements for a lead teacher per DCYF in the timeline outlined by DCYF will be required (full scholarship available) At least 3 years of lead full-time teaching experience in a professional childcare and/or preschool facility Requirements needed upon hire or working to obtain immediately:
Valid CPR certification & First Aid Certification (Infant, Child and Adult) Current Bloodborne Pathogens Training Negative TB Test 30 Hours Child Care Basics through the state of Washington Able to pay for and pass a background clearance through Washington State's DCYF Additional Requirements:
Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and in case of emergency a 40-pound child Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to maintain an overall positive and professional disposition Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Effectively plan, organize and implement educational activities Demonstrable record of making decisions on behalf of children with their well-being the top priority Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools, or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels.
May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl and lift up to 40 lbs.

At 1 year, teacher will be eligible for a raise based on the wage metric and with good 1 month, 90 day and annual evaluations (must show summative growth).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
